One of Bill's top ten craziest things

We started out Friday morning from Hilton Head airport on a 7:30am flight EST.
We flew into Atlanta which was dark and yucky looking.
Once we got to Las Vegas it was hot and sunny.
We rented a car and drove 300 miles, 5 hours, during which we did not see one gas station and we only saw about 20 cars.
At one point the road became one lane (for both directions)
We had no water, no phone service and 6 jelly bellies.
Everything went well though and we made it safely.

The views were so incredible.
We did not see any snow for the whole time.
When the GPS said we were 4 miles away I kept anticipating
at each corner we would have snow.
We arrived at the hotel and it started to snow, a real blizzard, ALL night.
Still blowing this morning (we may not ski today)
They are setting off avalanche charges as we speak.
Bill says I need to stop asking for snow.

That looks like a drive I'd like to take! Hope you have a fireplace when you're not skiing! Enjoy.

Rent yourself some snowshoes and get out in it. The peace is awesome and it's good exercise!
